Jessica & Ethan's Wedding

This afternoon we are headed back to The Atherton Hotel in State College for the first wedding reception of 2019. Today's couple is Jessica and Ethan.

The couple arrived at the hotel during cocktail hour after getting some pictures with TM Grey Photos. After the Grand Entrance to Blue Suede's "Hooke On A Feeling"  Our Bride & Groom took to the floor for their first dance as husband and wife, dancing to "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith, with the bubbles.

Jessica than stayed on the dance floor for a dance with her father who happens to be a huge Jimmy Buffet fan, Jessica chose "Little Miss Magic" by Jimmy Buffet for the dance.

And then Ethan and his mom took to the dance floor, for the Mother/Son dance. The song they chose to dance to was Phil Collins "You'll Be In My Heart"

After a toast by the best man, we were treated to a fantastic meal by The Atherton Hotel. We then cut the cake to "Honey Bee" by Blake Shelton. Ethan was nice enough to feed Jessica the cake, she made him take a shot to the chin of cake. A little cake battle ensued afterwards before Jessica & Ethan invited their siblings to join them on the dance floor for a little Macerana/Gangam Style mashup.
We then opened the dance floor and paused for the garter/bouquet toss and the Mr & Mrs Game, where learned that Etahn is more likely to drop his phone in the toilet and Jessica is on Facebook more.
Before the garter toss we were treated to 4 songs courtesy of Tommy Wareham and the groom's mother

We then ended the night with a final dance for the bride and groom to "This Is It' by Scotty McCreedy, the couple invited everyone to join them on the dance floor to finish out the song, before we finished out the night with "Save The Last Dance For Me" by Michael Buble.

Congratulations To Mr & Mrs. Shutika!

Louise & Evan's Wedding

This week we are headed to Laurel Mountain Winery in Falls Creek, PA, for the wedding of Louise and Evan. This couple has actually been married since December of 2016, but had issues with getting friends and family together for the reception until now. We were set up inside a pavilion that overlooked the vines for the winery. The cocktail hour music was provided by a local artist who played guitar and sang for the cocktail hour. This was a laid back event so the bride and groom mingled during the cocktail hour. Towards the end of the cocktail hour we lined up the bridal party and did a grand entrance and then ate dinner which was provided by some of the guests, who brought their own recipes. After dinner Louise and Evan took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife...Something that they had waited over a year to do. For the first time friends and family watched them dance to Ed Sheeran and Beyonce's "Perfect". We then partied later into the ...

Leslie & Mike's Wedding

All photos used in this post are courtesy of NixPix Photography Today we are heading to Laurel Rock Farms in Mifflintown for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception of Mike & Leslie. AJ actually went to school with Leslie so was honored when he was asked to DJ their wedding. Upon arriving it was an unusually warm day for October. The ceremony was to have been outside but with blazing sunshine and temperatures already near 90 degrees, Leslie made the call to move the ceremony indoors.  At 2PM, Mike and the groomsmen took their places down front as the Bridal Party made their way down the aisle. Then all the guests rose as Leslie made her way down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Marry Me" by Train. After the officiant presented the new Mr & Mrs Carter they walked back up the aisle to an instrumental version of "Beautiful Day" by U2. After a short receiving line, the bride, groom, bridal party, and families were taken for pictures by Nikkie...
